Fab Abs

A great way to get a washboard stomach is to utilize an ab workout machine.  Doing standalone exercises like crunches are also great, but with a workout machine, you can have a versatile ab workout.  For example, here’s how you can get some nice abs by doing an inclined reverse crunch exercise.1 Lying on a slant board, with your hips lower than your head, keep your knees slightly bent.

2 Slowly pull your hips upward and inward, like you would if emptying a bucket of water resting on your pelvis. Keep your knees at the same angle throughout the movement.

3 Pause, then slowly lower your hips to the starting position.

For the last few years, all of my jobs have had me sitting at a desk and eating poorly.  None of this really mattered until about three months ago, a relative who I hadn’t seen in a while audibly noticed my weight gain.  After that, I jumped on some treadmills and decided to lose the fat the old fashion way – with a proper diet and a workout. 

A friend of mine recommended the Couch-to-5K plan.  An intense regimen, the plan starts off slow and builds your body back up and within eight weeks of starting the program, you should be ready to run a 5K.  I have stuck with this plan for the last two months, I have already lost 7lbs.  If you’re looking for a good program, I recommend that one!
