clock-nanny-camerasIt’s a parent’s worst nightmare to think about a babysitter abusing their child. But it seems it’s when parents least expect it that abuse happens. Many families need two incomes and are forced to send their children to daycare or hire a nanny to come into their homes to watch their kids. But how do you keep your children safe when you’re away from home?

Surveillance devices

DVRs (digital recording devices) aren’t just for catching up on your favorite TV shows these days.  Surveillance devices incorporate digital recording to monitor your designated area, keeping track of comings, goings, and unwelcome guests.  Some DVR surveillance systems are designed to provide security for a large area such as a business, but there are also portable DVR devices in pocket sizes to assist in more covert operations or undercover work.

Some of the available technology allows the DVR system to be controlled remotely over the Internet.  These devices are absolutely amazing and may make you feel a lot more secure!

A board camera viewfinder operates through a pinhole-sized opening.  If they also have what is called a “board lens”, more light is allowed to come in and provides slightly better picture resolution, but a board lens requires a larger viewing hole of about ½”.

Board cameras are the key component in hidden cameras disguised as clock radios, wall clocks, cordless phones, teddy bears, pens, pen holder, smoke alarms, and many more.
