The quality and durability of your outdoor furniture sets the mood for your patio or deck enjoyment and entertaining. Deciding the type of furniture and its maintenance is an important step. Materials used range from wicker, wood, fabric, resin, aluminum to wrought iron.
The manufacturer usually includes care instructions for newly purchased outdoor products. Soap and water usually cleans well. Add bleach if mildew is present. If the material is wicker or wooden, a coating of paste wax will work as a preservative. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for off-season care and storage.
