The Victorian era was considered the era between 1837-1901, a time period when styles and designs were very intricate. Women always wore very fashionable clothes and jewelry, especially the elite or the rich, a women’s neckline on her dress was usually very revealing. Therefore, large beaded necklaces made from beads and gemstones were made to draw the attention away from the bust.
