If the creators of the Oxford dictionary were around to see the season finale of the 4th season of House, they certainly would add references to their definition of suspense in the dictionary. I certainly would! House has proved its mettle time and again and it’s been done again. With the conclusion of season 5 and with the passing on of some important characters, the next season certainly seems to be full of juice!
House finally recovers from his Coma, only to realize that Amber, or cut-throat bitch if you’d like, is dead. Not surprisingly, Wilson is not very pleased at House being the cause for her death. This is quite evident from the scene where Wilson simply shrugs away at House, despite the latter just having recovered from a deep state of Coma.
There are rumors that House and Cutty will lock lips in the 5th season! I bet you did not expect that one coming. Apart from that, we will see the new interns going about their daily business in full fledged glory, and with Kal Penn (remember Kumar from the famed Harold and Kumar series?) amidst the cast, we certainly can expect loads of fun as well.
Change is inevitable. But House just won’t change. I don’t think we’ll be seeing House filled with remorse, or anything even close to that. Despite having been the reason behind Amber’s unfortunate demise, I guess we’ll be seeing more obnoxious acts from House, and that really is what drives the show. The crazy antics of a brilliant, but tough doctor, who won’t kiss up to his boss’s ass. I think you’ll agree with me on that.
Whether Cameroon and Chase will get together again, only time can tell. We have seen flare ups in between them and I won’t be surprised if that happens again. A more logical thing to do would be to get together, but then that would mean the end of the show wouldn’t it?
Another big piece of news is that Wilson resigns from his job at the hospital, thus leaving House in a spot of bother. Meanwhile, ‘13’ is still struggling and continues to have problems treating her patient, as her condition worsens. House hires a private investigator to spy on Wilson, and reaches out to get some new friends. But only time will tell if he will succeed.
The 5th season of House has some really good stuff coming right at you, and has really put in some suspense into the minds of the viewers. The next season promises to deliver and seems to have everything, including another (unknown obviously) side of Dr.House. Unlike its competitors, the show has raised the bars and its season finale has put it right on the top, with other ground breaking shows. The season premiere of the 5th season is sure to turn some heads and will definitely witness really high viewership, considering the number of fans that the show has gathered over the past few seasons. The team takes on the case of a dreary middle-aged man who has been experiencing unexplained recurring blackouts and time lapses. With possible diagnoses ranging from a stroke to a concussion to toxins from the consumer products he has been testing for work, they soon find that the man, who is raising his 12-year-old daughter on his own, has been experiencing intense sleepwalking spells. As the team tries to find out what he could be doing during his sleep to make himself sick, his condition continues to deteriorate and his daughter also falls gravely ill. Meanwhile, House finds out Cuddy is going to adopt a baby that is due in two weeks. But when Cuddy meets the birth mother in person and notices a strange rash on her arm, Cuddy brings the mother to Princeton-Plainsboro where her condition worsens. Cuddy must take on the case as both a doctor and a potential mother, and she and the team are faced with a heart-wrenching decision that could risk either the birth mother’s or the baby’s life.
